18th Century Iberian Topaz NecklaceA scarce example of a precious topaz necklace dating to the 18th century. Each stone is foil backed in sterling silver. The necklace is removable from the pendant, allowing it to be worn as a brooch. In the period, it would have been convertible into a stomacher, worn sewn on a gown or a ribbon high on the neck.
