The Prairie Keepers No. 3"In these works, I aim to evoke a hopeful energy that can be found in the boldness and freedom of nature in particular, the birds. Each artwork begins with foundational layer of my eco prints and cyanotypes, which are digitally altered to create unique botanical and textural underpinnings. These rich, detailed layers are then enveloped by encaustic wax, adding a distinctive texture and depth, before final details of loose, splatter marks are added."
