Elongated Neolithic Earrings - Oxidised Sterling SilverCreated exclusively for Aosdna by Scottish artist, Beth Legg, these earrings are based on a piece of Neolithic pottery found on the Island of Staffa. To build up this repeated pattern and texture in silver, the pieces include individually soldered wires which are rolled and hammered on textured anvils to give a more weathered surface. When the pieces are then cast they benefit from a softening which occurs during the process. Oxidisation of these
