Large lustrous, leathery leaves on the magnolia tree's lush canopy obscure sunrays and appear dark and impenetrable when viewed in contrast to light. A quartz agglomerate slab with an astonishing depth that has been sometimes interrupted and lighted by stray light colored veins was inspired by this natural representation.
