2014 Champagne Siret Frère & Sœur: Blanc de BlancsA beautifully vinous style is obvious from first glance (golden flecks) and nose. Abundant intensity of lemon tart, roasted apple and apricot kernel notes are accented with brioche complexity from lees. A preserved lemon tartness rasps through the core of the wine, adding freshness and energy. A very linear acidic line maintains wonderful focus on this beautifully elegant Blanc de Blancs. (20% oak maturation on the vin clair).
