Fabulous Make Do Gold Monkey (From Cast Iron Tub Foot)No way could I resist this one a perfect embodiment of how found object + creative idea + small intervention adding up to something pretty fantastic. In this case, I believe it was a cast iron foot from an old bathtub that was turned upside down, painted gold, given a slit for a mouth and two holes for eyes, then mounted on a piece of wood. The result is a very monkey like monkey with about as empathetic face as I can image. Ta da, so good! 7 1 4 5 5
