Nocturne, The Fastnet, CorkLanding on the Fastnet Rock requires a boat from Cape Clear or Schull, calm seas, and a skipper who knows what they're doing. The rock itself is smaller than you'd expect, and the lighthouse dominates everything. It was the last piece of Ireland visible to emigrants sailing west, and that history sits with you when you're standing out there in the dark.
