Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop'Large Purple Aeonium: Evergreen succulent with long, bare, 3 4' tall stems that hold large terminal rosettes of very dark purple (seemingly black) leaves. Yellow star shaped flowers form in long conical clusters from the center of the rosettes in spring. Great in containers. Attracts hummingbirds, bees and pollinators. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, sand and drought tolerant once established, but prefers occasional water.
